Bagara Rice
Ingredients
Basmati rice (raw) 1cup
Bay leaf 1nos
Black cardamom 1nos
Cnnamon stick 2inch
Cloves 3nos
Ginger 1inch grated
Garlic 2cloves grated
Onion 1nos chopped lengthwise
Green chillies 2nos(slit)
Oil 4tbsps
Mint leaves 1/4cup
Salt to taste
Water 1 and 1/2cups
Method
Heat oil in a large pan .Add bay leaf,cloves,cinnamon,black cardamom to it.
Add the chopped onions and green chillies to it.Fry for 2 mins and add ginger and garlic.Fry till the onions are brown in color.
Add the mint leaves and fry for a minute.
Add the washed rice to it.Mix everything well and fry for 5 mins.
Add water and salt and transfer everything to a rice cooker and cook it .
Serve it hot.
