Bell pepper rice

Masala powder ingredients - To be be fried and ground:

Urad dhal - 1.5 Tbl.Spoons
Dhania whole - 2 tb spoons
Chana dhal - 2.5 tb spoons
Red chillies - 5 or 6 (depending on taste)
Elaichi - 1 or 2
Coconut flakes - 1 tb spoon

For tadka :

Mustard seeds - 1/2 spoon
Ghee/oil - 2 Tbl.Spoon
Cashew nuts - 2 tb spoon
Urad dhal - 2 tb spoon
Curry Leaves - 1-2 tsp. Chopped

Green bell pepper- 5 or 6
Potato - 1 or 2
Rice - 2 cups(cooked)
Salt - To Taste

Method -

1. Fry the masala ingredients and grind into a coarse powder
2. Chop the bell pepper and potato into small pieces.
3. Heat ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds , allow the seeds to splutter, add urad dhal, cashew nuts and curry leaves.
4. Add the vegetables and cook till done.
5. Just before turning off, add the ground powder and mix.
6. Mix this well in cooked rice with salt and eat it hot! :)
