Cabbage poriyal
Ingredients
Cabbage (finely chopped) 2cups
Green chillies 2nos
Grated coconut 2 tbsps
Cilantro finely chopped for garnish
Salt to taste
Seasoning
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Jeera 1/2tsp
Urad dal 1/2tsp
Hing pinch
Oil 2tbsps
Curry leaves 5 to 6 nos
Method
Heat oil in a pan.Add the seasoning ingredients .
When the mustard seeds start to splatter add the cabbage.
Keep the heat on medium.Do not cover it ( the cabbage will start leaving water if covered).
Keep mixing it so that it will not get burnt.
Do not let it get soft.It should be a little crunchy.
Add salt and the grated coconut.Mix well and remove from heat.
Garnish with chopped cilantro.
