Carrot-Peas Masala

Ingredients
Carrot (big) 4nos
Peas 1/2cup
Onions 2nos
Ginger(grated) 2tsps
Garlic(minced) 2tsps
Tomato puree 1cup
Chilli powder 1/2tsp
Jeera 1/2tsp
Red chillies 2nos
Coriander powder 1tsp
Salt to taste
Oil 3tbsps
Method
Peel and cut the carrot into medium size pieces.
Boil them in water and keep them aside.
If the peas are frozen then u need not cook them(but thaw them ) but if they are dried peas
you have to soak them for atleast 2hrs and cook them seperately.
Heat oil in a pan and add jeera,red chillies and fry.
Add the chopped onions to it and fry till the onions are light brown.
Add ginger, garlic,salt,chlli powder and tomato puree to it and fry till the oil leaves the masala(for about 4mins).
Take the cooked carrot and peas and add them to the masala.Add the coriander powder and mix well.
Cover it and cook for 2minutes.
Remove from heat and garinish with chopped coriander/cilantro and serve.
