Cracked Wheat Kheer
Ingredients
1cup cracked wheat
2and1/2 cups water
1cup jaggery
2tsps cornflour
2 cardamoms,powdered
1cup coconut milk(from fresh coconut)
Method
Pressure cook the cracked wheat until very soft.
Add the jaggery to the nearly boiling cooked wheat and reduce heat.
Let it cook for 2 more minutes.Do not cover and keep stirring to avoid burning.
Reduce the heat.
Mix coconut milk with cornflour and add to the cracked wheat.
Let it cook for another 3 minutes on low heat.
Add the cardamom powder and serve hot or cold.
