Hot and Sour Soup

Ingredients
String beans 1/4cup
Carrot(finely chopped) 1/4cup
Cabbage(shredded) 1/2cup
Corn kernels 1/4cup
White mushrooms(chopped) 3nos
Bean sprouts 1/4cup
Onion 1(small chopped)
Celery (chopped) 1/8cup
Ginger(minced) 1tsp
Garlic(minced) 1tsp
Soy sauce( light) 2-1/2tbsps
Chilli sauce 2tbsps
Vinegar 1tbsps
Vegetable stock 5cups
Sugar 1/2tsp
White pepper powder 1/2tsp
Cornstarch 1-1/2tbsps
Green onions (chopped) 1/4cup
Salt to taste

Method
Heat oil in a pan and add the ginger,garlic,onion and celery to it and fry for a minute.
Add the beans,sprouta,carrot and mix well.Fry for a minute.
Add the cabbage and mushrooms.Saute' the vegetables.
Add the soy sauce,chilli sauce,vinegar and mix well.
Add water,vinegar and sugar and mix.
Mix cornstarch with little water and add it to the soup.
The soup thickens slowly.
Garnish with green onions and serve.
