Kanda bachali

Ingredients:
Bachali (malabar spinach) 1 bunch
Kanda(suran) 1packet of frozen suran
Mutard seeds powder 1tsp
Oil 4tbsps
Turmeric 1/2tsp
Lime juice 1tbsps(u can add more if u like sourness)

Seasoning:
Mustard seeds 1/4th tsp
Urad dal 1/4th tsp
Asofoetida pinch
Curry leaves 5nos
Red chillies 2nos
Green chillies 2nos sliced

Method:
Pressure cook suran and the leaf.

Mix 1tbsp oil and the mustard powder and keep it a side.

Heat the remaining oil in a pan.Add the seasoining ingredients.

Wait till the mustard seeds splater and then add the cooked suran mixture.

Add turmeric and salt and mix well.

Once the excess water has evaporated remove it from heat.This curry is not supposed to be too dry.

When the curry is almost cool add the mustard powder and oil mixture to it and mix well.

Add lime juice.Mix well and serve it with rice.
