Ingredients:
Sooji/upma flour: 2 cups
Yogurt: 1-2 cups
Cilantro : chopped (1/2 bunch)
Onion: chopped 1 large
Green chillies : 2chopped (according to spice levels)
Salt to taste
Preparation :
Mix sooji flour along with yogurt ,chopped onions, chopped chillies and chopped cilantro. Add salt accordingly. Please do not add any water while preparing the dough. If the dough becomes too thick we can add little butter milk .Make the dough into small balls and keep aside.
Heat up the oil for deep frying. Now deep fry the sooji mix in medium high setting till golden brown. They can be eaten along with tomato sauce or green chutney.
It is a great appetiser/evening snack.
Sour curd makes it more tasty.
