Szechuan String Beans
Ingredients
String beans 1pound
Garlic(chopped) 2tbsps
Ginger(grated) 1/2tsp
Chilli sauce 1tbsps
Soy sauce(light) 1tbsp
Vinegar 1tsp
Vegetable oil 2tbsps
Green onions(chopped) 2tbsps
Method.
Cut edges of the beans.
Heat 1tbsp oil in wok.Add the string beans .Fry for 5 to 8mins stirring continuously.
When the beans are brown and are tender but not soft take them out.
Heat the remaining oil in the wok.
Add the ginger and garlic.Fry for a minute.
Add the soy sauce,chilli sauce and vinegar to it. Mix well.
Add the beans to the sauces.
Stir fry for another 3minutes till the sauces have almost evaporated.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
