Toor Dal Chutney
Ingredients
Toor dal 1/2 cup
Tamarind(lime size ball) 1nos(soaked in water)
Garlic cloves 3big or 4small
Salt to taste
Seasoning
Mustard seeds 1tsp
Dried red chillies 8nos
Oil 1tbsp
Method
Dry roast toor dal until brown and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and red chillies to it.
Grind this seasoning.Add toor dal,garlic pods,tamarind to it.
Grind all of them by adding water.
This chutney is of thick consistency.So add only that much water that is needed to grind the toor dal into a paste.
Serve it with hot rice.
