Vegetable bath

Ingredients:
Sooji 1 cup
Tomatoes 1nos
Carrots 1nos
Peas 1/4cup
Beans 1/4cup chopped(u can cut them into any length u desire)
Onions 1/4cup chopped

Seasoning:
Mustard seeds 1/4tsp
Chana dal 1/4tsp
Urad dal 1/4 tsp
Red chilli 2nos
Green chillies 3nos(optional)
Curry leaves 5nos
Salt to taste
Turmeric(optional .only if u want some color to the dish)
Water 2cups
Oil 4tbsps


Method :
Fry sooji in a littlt bit of ghee so that it will not form clumps* when u add it to the water later.


Heat oil in a pan .

Add all the seasoning ingredients and when the mustard seeds splatter add the onions and fry for 2mins.

Then add the chopped vegetables and fry them for 5mins.

Add water to it. Add salt and turmeric.

When the water starts to boil add the sooji slowly so that it does not clump.

Mix it well and leave it on low heat covered for 5mins.

Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
